Tickets for Sunday's Concert and other info

Tickets for Sunday's concert may be purchased at the locations and phone numbers below, or reserved from the organiser in advance - Mrs Augustinova - and paid for and collected from her in person during our general rehearsal - for details please see Czech version below. But electronic sales have been halted.

As far as our concert at the other Svaty Salvator is concerned, i.e. that on 14 December, I am still awaiting up-to-date information, and will let you know as soon as I know.

I have been told that information regarding our concert at the Charvatuv Sal is not sufficiently prominently available on our pages. Let me repeat the details - that event is on 12 December, with a short rehearsal at 5 p.m. and the concert, consisting again of the Ryba Mass, at 6 p.m.. Admission is free and we can invite all our friends. The address is U nemocnice 1, and the Sal is in fact a former chapel on the first floor of the hospital. BTW, all our Ryba masses this year - including the ones in Karlstejn (18 December) and (as part of the University of Economics Orchestra, for those who are still around in Prague and free to join us) at Svaty Jan pod Skalou (23 December) - will be the new version, that is the one in A which we have been rehearsing. Also, we have decided that the Dvorak Te Deum will not be included in these concerts, but we hope to repeat it in the Spring at the church in Svaty Jan pod Skalou.

I hope soon to find out your views as to the best time to resume rehearsals in the new semester. We shall have a very exciting programme, and are hoping to have a concert at the Czech museum of music, featuring several solo concertante works with our members as soloists, as well as the World Premiere of brilliant young composer Stanislav Poslusny's new orchestral suite "The Little Prince", based on Antoine Saint-Exupery's eponymous book. BTW, we still have three more rehearsals ahead of us this semester, fortunately. I shall soon be able to advise you as to what music to bring with you.
