Pan Kuchinka, soustredeni, pondelni zkouska a uterni koncert

Pan Kuchinka potvrdil, ze zitra tj v Sobotu bude pritomen na soustredeni. Budme, prosim, pripraveny, ze bude dirigovat nejen Ceskou pisen nybrz pripade i Vltavu. Dorazi v 11.45 hod. Doufam, ze budeme moci byt pritomny na temer plny pocet. Nejvice zalostna byla situace u viol - proste zadna nebyla ve stredu, a vim, ze Tereza nemuze koncert v utery. Musime, vazeni, hodne pracovat, takze prosim pojdte! At neni ostuda u pana Kuchinky, a at koncert v utery dopadne dobre. Hlavkova nadace je nam velmi naklonena a je nam verna, vlastne jejich koncert ja vzdy povazuji za nejprestiznejsi celeho roku.

Pondelni generalka bude primo v Aule VSE.

V utery akusticka zkouska musi zacit jiz v 17 hod, ja budu rozezpivat sbor od 16.45. Zkouska je kratsi nez samotny koncertni program, proto prosim mepomuzte tim, ze dorazite vcas, neztravite cas v satne nybrz prijdete primo do Auly Karolina, a budete vysoce kooperativni. Moc Vam dekuji v predem! Koncert zacne v 19 hod, a Hlavkovou nadaci jsem vcera dojednaval to, ze budeme smet pozvat pratele, ale dostanou do Auly az pet minut pred zacatkem koncertu. Take mi bylo upozorneno, ze kvuli zvysene zajmu o aktivitach Sboru a Orchestr, je ocekavan, ze Aula bude plna, cimz, bohuzel, je zvysena pravdepodobnost, ze nase pratele budou muset stat.

Ve stredu nezkousime, a uvidime se dalsi zkousku, kde bude primo generalka na Rybovku (misto konani teto zkousky ve VSE bude upresneno, Iva ceka na odpoved - doufame, ze bude bud v Atria Rajske budovy anebo primo v Aule). Proto mimo jinych skladeb, hodlam se venovat cas i na Rybovku v nedelni casti soustredeni prave kvuli tomu. Budeme zkouset Rybovku in A, vedouce, ze v Praze zahrajeme ji, ackoliv je mozne, ze mimo Prahu budeme jeste potrebovat i Rybovku in G. To upresnime.

Ladies and Gentlemen, Mr Kuchinka has now confirmed that tomorrow, Saturday, he is coming to do a short masterclass with our Orchestra and Chorus. In addition to Ceska pisen, he might well choose to do a bit of work on Vltava also (both pieces by Smetana). I do hope that you will all be there. We rehearse 9.30-6, Mr Kuchinka will be with us 11.45am-1pm. I would particularly appreciate the presence of violas - there were none on Wednesday, and Tereza cannot be there at the concert on Tuesday, and I am gravely worried. The Hlavka Foundation concert on Tuesday is perhaps the most prestigious public appearance we have all year.

Monday evening's General Rehearsal will be at the Aula of the Univ. of Economics.

On Tuesday we start playing at 5pm and the concert is at 7, so the rehearsal will in fact have to be shorter than the programme. Please help me by being punctual, and by coming directly to the Aula of the Karolinum, not to the greenrooms! Thank you! The Foundation have allowed us to invite our friends, but on condition that they be admitted to the Aula five minutes before the concert, and thus they will probably have to stand.

No rehearsal on Wednesday 16th, so on Wednesday week in fact we have a general rehearsal devoted to the Ryba Christmas Mass in A, which we are perfoming at the Evangelical Church of sv. Salvator, as you know, on Sunday, 27 Nov. However, we may well need the music for the version in G as well, for concerts outside Prague.
